1940's Mercedes Superba Typewriter w Case - Good Working Order

1940's Mercedes typewriter with the serial number 237735/1 - either a Superba or Selecta model

• Portable type, it comes attached to a base which a sturdy lid clips onto.
• Very well kept, the outside of the case has some marks but has kept the typewriter beautifully clean.
• The mechanism of the keys is amazing - the smoothest I've felt on a manual typewriter!
• The keys do not bunch and it requires less force to make a good keystrike than many other vintage models I've tried.  It will need a new ink ribbon.
• There are a few minor marks on the full metal body but overall in amazing USEABLE condition.
• Weighs a chunky 6.95 kg in the case and measures 33 x 32 x 16 cm
