CONDITION
Please view pictures carefully for any details I may have missed.
- Outer part of the lock on the front is missing - internal mechanism and top latch still in place
- Veneer has chipped on front left corner, front center and back left of lid. The veneer on the two short sides of the lid has raised wavy lines - possible water damage?
- Right hand side knob is missing a large chunk from the bottom part, the wood finish below looks stained, with two lines of 'drips'
- Missing one of the original dividers inside and felt has been removed leaving glue/fabric residue (probably originally had top lids also)
- The underside of the lid shows cracks in the wood (these don't show on the top side). Small area of veneer chipping on the front underside edge of the lids rim
- Base has a large crack in the wood, which appears to follow the curve of the wood grain
- The veneer on the sides of the caddy feels smooth, there is small area on the top right corner where it has cracked. The veneer around the latch on the top edge of the base has lifted slightly.
