ANTIQUE Japanese Vase - AF - 30 cm

Large antique vase, Japanese in origin.

Unusually deep base with some black ink marks.

Hand painted lake scene with raised edging on some parts (like moriage but not in beads but lines).

It's not in the best of conditions but was too interesting to simply throw out - I hope it is useful to someone out there.

CONDITION

Large piece of the top rim has been broken and reglued.  Two white patches on one side of the vase (possibly where an applied detail has been removed).

Wear to the painted details in spots.  All as pictured.  

DIMENSIONS

30 cm tall, 18 cm wide across handles.  16 cm diameter around the broadest part of the vase's body.
