ANTIQUE Victorian Silver Plate Candlestick Pair - Grape Vine Motif - Weighted

Pair of late Victorian era silver plated candlesticks.

• Square base with grape and vine motif that is repeated up the stem
• Weighted bases (each candlestick is just under 1 kg)
• Marked, 'Made in England, Silver Plate'
• Designed to hold 2.3 cm diameter candles.

CONDITION

• Both the felt bases have wear, one worse than the other. 
• The plate is intact and while they need a touch up polish are mostly bright and shiny as is
• There are three tiny 'dings' that I found on close examination (all pictured), none were obvious at first, second or third glances.  Overall in excellent condition for age.

DIMENSIONS

The candlesticks are 24.5 cm tall with a square base measuring 11 x 11 cm.  The square collar around the candle holder at the top is 5.5 cm wide.
