Pair of antique Sheffield plate (silver over copper) candlestick holders, hallmarked SL in a shield, the mark of William Suckling of Birmingham.
- Early 1900's.
- Round weighted bases edged wtih a grape and vine motif that is repeated on the stem and collar.
- Topped with removeable caps
CONDITION
There is rubbing to the silver so that copper shines through, worst around the points of the base but also in spots up the stems. Minor wear to the green felt on the bases. All as pictured.
DIMENSIONS
13 cm tall. Bases have a diameter of 10.5 cm. Candle collar at top has a diameter of 6 cm. Each candlestick weighs 650g.
