Heathers Quandong & Rose Petal Sugar - 100g glass jar.

  • Made in Dumbelyung Western Australia.
  • A mix of quandong, rose petal and sugar.
  • The quandong (also known as the Wongup) is a native Australian fruit which can only be picked under a license - the trees are difficult to cultivate so the fruits can only be sourced from naturally growing trees. 
  • The fruit has a sweet but tart taste and more vitamin C than an orange!
  • The quandongs used in this mix are endemic to the Dumbleyung area and picked by Heather Wright, who uses them to make a beautiful range of quandong based treats.
  • This sugar mix is divine sprinkled over vanilla icecream, mixed through cake icing (or batter mix) but my favourite way to use it as a sugar rim on cocktail glasses.
