Tin toy mill house with water wheel (turn the handle to watch the wheel move).
Sweet little reminder of times gone past.
Reproduction tin toys have become quite collectable in modern times, as true vintage pieces become harder to find. Our range of metal wind up and push-along toys look and feel as they would have back in the late 1800s to mid-1900s.
Motorised tin-plate toys began production in Germany in the 1860s, with the most famous producer being Ernst Paul Lehmann, who continued to make tin toys until the 1930s.
