VINTAGE 1960's Pink Dress - Mesh Sleeves High Neck Full Length - Size 10

Epic 60's dress in an amazing pink/purple mesh fabric.  Hand made by a great seamstress.

• Full length with long mesh sleeves, high collared neck and empire line bodice
• Sleeves are gathered at the shoulder and end in a wide cuff with four small decorative buttons (metal snaps on the inside of the sleeve are used for the closure)
• Bodice and skirt are lined in a matching purple satin textured fabric
• Back zip runs from the neck to below the hips, with an additional hook and eye at the waist
• Skirt is slightly gathered at the bodice

CONDITION

• No stains. 
• Some missing closures - the hook and eye above the zip at the neck and two of the inner metal snaps on the right sleeve
• Small tear in the lining fabric and some tiny holes nearby on the back of the skirt (un-noticeable unless the is dress turned inside out but would benefit from repair to prevent further damage)
• Metal zip runs smoothly 
• Hem is generous (6 cm), giving some flexability to lengthen the skirt

DIMENSIONS

• On modern measurements I would define the dress as being midway between an 8 and 10 (using Target Australia sizing)
• The bodice and shoulders are the critical fitting points - the gathers in the skirt allow for significant variation in waist and hip size
• Sized to fit a bust of 86 and underbust of 72 cm.  
• Shoulders are 35 cm wide
• On my 174 cm frame the skirt fell to my just above my ankles.
